I have recently started doing squats with weights to bulk up. I am quite skinny and this routine is helping me put on some muscle mass all over. However, my scales indicate that I am also putting on a bit of body fat as my weight is increasing. I have not really changed my diet, so I am wondering how squatting could make me put on fat too!! The routine is helping me pack weight on but I don’t want to add too much fat. Are my scales inaccurate? Or is this a factor of a squat routine? Any help appreciated
