I’m going into the Army and am looking to build as much lean, strength muscle as possible before i leave for training (to help increase my push-up and sit-up count). I’m working out and taking a protein supplement, but what diet should start to help? |

Building muscle requires lots of protein. The formula is 2 grams of protein x your weight in kilograms. I weigh 90, so I need 180 grams of protein. You also need carbs, too. Try mixing a protein drink within 30 mins after your workout with 50g protein, 1 1/2 tsp L-Glutamin, 1 tsp creatine and about 30g dextrose. It’s important to get that in your system as soon as possible after your workout.
In terms of whole foods, try fish, chicken, and turkey for protein.
Don’t worry, if you don’t get there before your induction date, the Army will take care of it for you!

you should go for a jog one day and a walk another and visit the gem at lest once a week and try working out at home at lest every other day.
p.s. drink plenty of water and 1 to 2 cups of milk a day
