My Personal Story on How To Build Lean Muscle Mass

No Comments 02 May 2012

I was never happy with my body and wanted to change it? Inside, I was wrought with insecurity because I was a 125 pound weakling, and desperately looking for a way to put some muscle on my skinny frame.
At that point, being strong and muscular wasn’t even an option; I just wanted to look like everyone else instead of resembling a toothpick Maybe I wasn’t as thin as I imagined back then, but it didn’t matter.
Afraid to show my arms, or take my shirt off, my confidence was down in the dumps. . . . Then one day, something happened.
One day when I was looking in the mirror, I realized just how unhappy I was with the way I looked. Something inside of my head just sort of “snapped”. I knew I had to change and learn how to build lean muscle mass.
No more talking; it was time to start working and do something about my small frame. Talking builds no muscles.
It was time to learn how to build lean muscle mass, no matter what the obstacles, how hard it was, or how long it took. I committed to getting huge and that was what was going to happen.
After filling my head with every possible piece of bodybuilding literature to learn how to build lean muscle mass, I started putting the techniques to use. After several months of trial and error experimentation, I was finally able to narrow it down and figure out how to build lean muscle mass .
Of course there were times I didn’t want to but I forced myself to go the gym and workout. I had made a commitment to myself and that kept me going.
My weight slowly increased.
I gained 15 pounds of solid muscle in a few short months. All the time I spent researching how to build lean muscle mass and the hours I spent slaving away at the gym were finally paying off.
I was committed to training and eating. I had moved past where I was and I was not about to quit.
Sure, I experienced bumps on the road. I wasn’t going to quit no matter how tough it was.
In order to hit my goal, I did the things that I hated doing the most. Training when I wanted to go to bed, eating when I just wanted to chill, tucking myself in when I wanted to stay up.
As months passed, my muscles continued to grow. My confidence was suddenly at an all time high. Letting up wasn’t part of my plan.
And I’m still training and still seeing improvements. I can truly say that learning how to build lean muscle mass was the greatest choice I’ve ever made in my entire life.
I have grown from the inside out. I’m confident about my appearance. I am no longer too shy to take my shirt off and I don’t have to hide my body in oversize clothes.
My life has completely changed for the better. Do not quit if you are trying to learn how to build lean muscle mass.
No matter what, you HAVE to stick to it.
If you don’t give up, bodybuilding has the power to do so much for you and you will be eternally grateful that you kept going. Nothing is quite as fulfilling.
The rewards are just unbelievable.

Now You Can Build Lean Muscle Mass Quickly And Fat Free!

So you dream of getting more muscular and bulk up but you don’t want to gain any fat tissue at the same time? Unfortunately these goals are nearly complete opposites. Increasing your muscle mass requires you to take onboard a significant surplus amount of calories than you actually burn off during a day. The excess calories are then available to be turned into muscle mass. Your bodyfat may well be increased as some of these calories may well not be used at all. This is why gains in muscle mass normally come hand in hand with fat gains. A minimum of three months has always been the length of time suggested for any bulking program. Regardless of how much muscle you are going to gain many people do not like the idea of putting on fat for 3 months. After three months then the vast majority of people will then be very strong and bulky but may then have to go on a diet for a good few months in order to lose the excess fat they gained. Fortunately for you however there is a new way to approach building lean muscle without gaining excess fat. It comes from new research that outlines a short bulk and cut cycle of two weeks. In a nut shell when you begin to consume excess amounts of calories your body responds by becoming highly anabolic a condition great for muscle growth. After about two weeks this effect wears of and the body will start converting a lot fo the excess calories to fat. This new method requires two weeks bulking and then recommends you switch to a cutting or diet phase for two weeks. During this ripping phase your target is to get rid of excess pounds of body fat tissue but to still keep your strength levels the same. This cycle can be done over and over agin without making any gains in fat yet still bulking up a great deal. OK, so now you know how to gain mass without gaining fat you do indeed hold a powerful secret to lean muscle building in your hands, what will you do with it? It is in your hands!

How can I add lean muscle and tone my body?

4 Comments 01 May 2012

I gained some weight (fat), but love my shape. However, I’m not as toned as I used to be and need some advice. I’m 5’6 and 123lbs. I used to be 105-110lbs (varied depending on stress levels, etc), but did not look healthy; everyone said I was too skinny. So I gained weight after eating chinese food each and every day (took 7 months to gain 13lbs), and now I am unhappy with the excess fat. How can I KEEP the shape, but lose the fat and replace it with muscle. I do NOT want a boyish shape.

What should be my daily calorie/protein intake?

Do You Know The Secrets To Building Lean Muscles?

No Comments 29 April 2012

Those that are new to the sport of weightlifting or bodybuilding likely have questions about building lean muscles.   Just because you lift weights that doesn’t mean you will be successful at developing your muscles to their maximum potential. Do you know the number one thing that will cause you to fail in the gym if you don’t prevent it?  This article answers that question. Overtraining is the most common problem that weightlifters and bodybuilders run into that will prevent them from achieving their maximum muscle development.   Why is this so common?  The answer is simple.   We want results fast so we workout too hard, too often and without sufficient rest in between our workouts.   Many have the wrong idea that if they workout more and rest less they will grow faster.   This just isn’t true and will likely do you more harm than good in the long run. Whether your goal is related to building lean muscles, getting stronger, improving your endurance you need to avoid overtraining.   Understand that your muscles grow when they are at rest, not when you are working out.   Work outs actually cause your muscle fibers to break down.   When you take time away from the gym, especially when you are sleeping your body acts to repair this fiber breakdown and your muscles will grow.   Train hard – yes!  Rest hard – absolutely!Overtraining can have several negative affects on our bodies and have a negative impact on our nervous system, hormone levels, our immune system and our metabolic rate.   It should be obvious that not allowing your body to rest adequately works against what you are trying to do through your workouts – to gain lean muscle and strength.  Overtraining will also force your body into a state of exhaustion which will prevent muscle development and growth.   It will likely lead to injury as well.   This will only slow your progress down more as you will have to modify or stop working out until your injury heals.   If you are exhausted your recovery time will be much longer as well. If building lean muscles if your goal then be sure you are allowing adequate rest in between your workouts.   Avoid overtraining as it will directly affect your progress and your potential.   Your workouts have to be balanced between duration, intensity and rest.
